Responsibility
- as the Finance Manager at our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations
- oversee and manage all aspects of the charity's financial accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency
- your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of financial activities, from day-to-day transactions to strategic financial planning
- supervise and guide the Finance Assistant, delegating tasks and managing their workload effectively
- utilise Xero accounting software to maintain day-to-day financial transactions and records
- prepare quarterly managed accounts and present to the Board of Directors, demonstrating a clear understanding of financial performance and trends
- develop and maintain cash flow projections to support financial planning and decision-making
- collaborate with the team to prepare budgets for funding applications and contracts, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
Requirements
- CIMA qualification is required
- experience in using Xero and in charity accounts
- proven experience in finance management, preferably within the non-profit sector

- salary £33,500 per annum. Full time
