Responsibility

  • utilize advanced statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets
  • develop predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to address complex business problems and drive informed decision-making
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and deliver impactful solutions
  • design and implement experiments, A/B tests, and data-driven initiatives to optimize business processes and improve key performance metrics
  • explore and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes
  • develop and maintain robust data pipelines and data integration processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the data science team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment

Requirements

  • bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus
  • minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data science or related roles
  • extensive experience with statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling
  • proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with strong knowledge of relevant libraries and frameworks
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively interpret and communicate complex data-driven insights
  • experience with big data technologies and cloud-based data platforms is highly desirable
  • solid understanding of database systems, SQL, and data manipulation techniques
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
