Responsibility
utilize advanced statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets
develop predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to address complex business problems and drive informed decision-making
collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and deliver impactful solutions
design and implement experiments, A/B tests, and data-driven initiatives to optimize business processes and improve key performance metrics
explore and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes
develop and maintain robust data pipelines and data integration processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy
present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the data science team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
Requirements
bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus
minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data science or related roles
extensive experience with statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling
proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with strong knowledge of relevant libraries and frameworks
strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively interpret and communicate complex data-driven insights
experience with big data technologies and cloud-based data platforms is highly desirable
solid understanding of database systems, SQL, and data manipulation techniques
excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
