Requirements

  • QTS or currently working towards
  • evidence of continuing professional development
  • accreditation for external moderation/ verification for Functional Skills exam boards
  • 3 years' or more teaching experience of teaching learner/students with SEND
  • evidence of good or outstanding teaching
  • solution focused and trauma informed approach
  • possess the emotional and physical resilience necessary when working with challenging young people with a range of complex needs
  • ability to demonstrate high quality, creative and innovative classroom practice to engage, motivate and inspire students
