Responsibility

  • design and implement scalable maritime technology solutions that enhance data interoperability and navigation capabilities
  • provide strategic architecture guidance for modernising maritime digital services
  • work closely with product teams to support user-centered technology development
  • ensure compliance with industry standards for geospatial and hydrographic data

Requirements

  • proven expertise in maritime digital transformation and geospatial data systems
  • background in marine engineering, oceanography, or maritime navigation systems
  • experience in cloud deployment, containerised solutions, API design, and CI/CD
  • experience working on MOD, Navy, or Hydrographic Office projects
  • strong understanding of hydrographic data processing, navigation applications, and S-100 standards
  • familiarity with defense, public sector, or maritime regulatory bodies
