Responsibility
an ‘eyeball’ for detail with good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with people at all levels within the workplace
team player who promotes safety compliance by shaping new protocols and strengthening existing Health and Safety policies
attend such courses/seminars run by external sources to enable accurate interpretation of legislation to enable implementation within the organisation
minimising or removing the Risk of accidents, work-related illnesses, and injuries within the workplace. Understand the application of the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 and other legislation relevant to the Companies business
keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Director and Group QHSE responsible for Health and Safety any relevant new legislation
to carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms
advise the Group QHSE Manager of all incidents reportable under R.I.D.D.O.R
ensure that all “assessments” as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same
Requirements
NEBOSH Diploma /NVQ Level 6 or equivalent
minimum 3 years Top Tier COMAH Site Experience
staff Role 38 hours per week mainly working around Humber Area
overtime may be required during Shutdowns and Outages
full Driving License required as local travel in Works Vehicles will be required
