Responsibility
- please note successful applicants will receive full on the job training to become fully competent within the glass industry
- responsible for operating hand tools, power tools and machinery to create high quality double-glazed glass units according to specifications
- performing quality checks on finished glass products to ensure they meet company standards
- assisting daily with incoming glass sheets deliveries
- assisting daily with loading and unloading vans
- assisting the multi-skilled team providing a seamless manufacturing production service across the business making high-quality double-glazed glass units in an appropriate and timely manner
- this is a physical role and requires some heavy lifting
- general day to day production duties including manual handing of glass units, as well as taping and bar filling double glazed glass units using the latest cutting-edge machinery
