Responsibility

  • fabricating handcrafted homes for DGP joinery and building customers
  • inspecting and inspecting products to ensure quality of workmanship
  • maintaining a clean work area in the shop at all times
  • performing other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor or Shop Manager
  • working in a safe manner while working on jobsites
  • working with other employees to ensure safety of all jobsites

Requirements

  • minimum of 1 year of building experience is required. Maintenance Person experience is highly preferred
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment with a focus on quality craftsmanship
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance
  • must be able to stand for long periods of time bending, stooping and twisting while working on jobsites
  • joinery: 4 years
  • carpentry: 4 years
