Responsibility
- be the first point of contact for all customer orders, enquiries and requests mainly by email and phone
- process orders in an efficient and accurate manner on the SAGE 50 IT system to agreed timescales
- process and administer forms, account applications and other requests as required
- take ownership of tailored administrative processes for specific customer accounts
- liaise with internal departments to manage the smooth transaction of all sales orders, from order receipt to final delivery
- form an understanding of our customers business and promote relevant solutions
- perform office administration tasks as directed
- provide cover to other functions for holiday and absence cover, including planning and logistics
Requirements
- desire to succeed in a sales focused organisation
- familiarity with SAGE 50 or other order processing software
- must be able to accurately follow all company processes and procedures
- experience and confidence with interacting with customers by telephone
- knowledge of administrative procedures
- knowledge of processing Business to Business Sales
- attention to detail and accuracy essential
- initiative and desire to improve situations, systems and processes
