Responsibility
- is a global supplier of turn-key tooling solutions for the wind industry with a focus on innovation and sustainability
- we are recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team based in Lee On The Solent, UK
- introduction: DFS Composites Ltd
- the successful candidate will be joining our global engineering team and be responsible for the entire lifecycle of mechanical designs from concept through to full scale production, with the latter of this process in conjunction with our production teams in China, Mexico and India
- the designs will be for a range of tooling solutions from basic steel structures for lifting equipment, to complex mould tooling for manufacture of composite materials
- perform ad hoc engineering duties and administration as required
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical but other relevant degrees will be considered
- at least 5-years’ experience in a design engineering field
