DESIGN SUPPLY is looking for employees for positions:
- be an efficient part of our design team
- responsible for the input of design parameters into bespoke automation software
- provide detailed instructions to manufacturing team of how the product is to be assembled
- assessing of orders to ensure that customers requirements can be met without additional information being needed
- provide information to purchasing department to ensure all parts are available by manufacturing date
- providing occasional technical assistance to customers when needed
- attend meetings with senior staff to help identify and resolve any issues
- experience in manufacturing industry preferable
- execute welding tasks according to precise specifications for industrial doors
- interpret designs to ensure accurate welding procedures for architectural solutions
- uphold the quality and integrity of welded structures, contributing to the reliability of our industrial doors
- collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines for architectural solutions
- perform manual handling tasks as required in the manufacturing process
- adhere to stringent safety standards and protocols within the industrial doors manufacturing environment
- ability to read and interpret designs for industrial doors
- strong commitment to safety protocols in manufacturing environments
- attention to detail and precision within the architectural solutions manufacturing process
- excellent teamwork and communication skills within manufacturing teams
- essential: Proven experience as a Welder in manufacturing industrial doors
- preferred: Relevant welding certifications within the architectural solutions sector
- produce detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and installation purposes
- collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless design-to-manufacture processes
- liaise with architects, developers, and clients to deliver project-specific solutions
- interpret verbal instructions and translate them into clear, accurate drawings
- discuss manufacturing requirements with the Production Manager
- coordinate the filing, storage, and distribution of all drawings and technical documents
- proficient in 2D drafting software, ideally AutoCAD or DraftSight
- excellent attention to detail and a thorough, methodical approach
- strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- good communication and teamwork skills
- design knowledge and the ability to present ideas clearly
- training will be provided due to the bespoke nature of our work
