Responsibility

  • conversion of designed tools into a simulation cad package
  • validate tooling designs for weld gun access
  • feedback for tool development
  • evaluate feasibility of customer supplied process
  • build robotic cells to exacting customer and legal safety standards
  • creating robot welding programs
  • sequencing of multiple robots to prove out cycletime
  • assist in the creation of a 2d Acad systems layout for site installation

Requirements

  • math's or Sciences at A level/BTEC or equivalent is an advantage
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • knowledge of BIW is advantageous but not essential
  • suitable academic Degree 2:1 desirable
