- job Title: Mental Health Service Manager
- responsible to: The Chief Executive Officer
- responsible for: The Mental Health Services Team
- to hold responsibility for all counselling activities at Derman, ensuring that BACP Ethical Framework is operated by all counsellors/ psychotherapist and trainees working for Derman
- ensure mental health services staff and volunteers understand and adhere to the policies and procedures of the organisation and statutory requirements, taking action where necessary
- monitor contact with clients and be responsible for the preparation and presentation of reports on the services
- being responsible for drawing up job descriptions, taking part in recruitment and induction of staff, taking part in the disciplinary and grievance processes
- promote the service and the organisation via the development and maintenance of effective networks with principal funders, supporters and stakeholders
