Responsibility

  • works to design briefs provided by the team lead or other senior design team members or product team members
  • understands different devices, their operating systems and interfaces
  • contributes to and monitors the accuracy of our Design System
  • create wireframes and polished user interfaces based upon user research and data following best practice
  • conducts brand analysis and market research when required as part of the requirement set
  • keep abreast of new developments/technology that could be utilised by the organisation to retain its competitive advantage
  • maintains brand integrity throughout the production process
  • delivers designs which meet the quality expectations of Senior UI Designers, UI/UX Manager and/or Principal UI/UX Designer including stakeholders within the project deadline

Requirements

  • experience with Product Design and Prototyping tools – ie Figma
  • works in an iterative fashion and adopts a lean methodology on all projects undertaken
  • experience with Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • experience of using Apple and Windows based software/hardware
  • good understanding of CSS/HTML5 in order to advise on changes to developers
  • good knowledge of UI/UX Design incl design patterns and best practices
  • A good understanding of the product deployment cycle and the dependencies and requirements at key development phases
  • an understanding of how both responsive/adaptive design is applied in both creative and development technologies
