DEREK MERSON is looking for employees for positions:
service advisor
Responsibility
- being the first point of contact for our valued customers, both in person and over the phone
- listening carefully to customers to understand their vehicle's issues and accurately recording the details
- managing the workshop diary, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a steady, efficient workflow
- translating customer needs into clear, concise job cards for our technical team
- keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle, explaining any required work clearly and without jargon
- preparing and explaining invoices, processing payments, and handling associated administrative tasks
Requirements
- A basic technical understanding of vehicles would be a significant advantage
- A full UK manual driving licence is required
- experienced: You'll have previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry
- an Excellent Communicator: You can build rapport easily and explain things clearly and patiently
- highly Organised: You can juggle phone calls, bookings, and paperwork without breaking a sweat
- problem-Solver: You have a can-do attitude and can think on your feet
