Responsibility

  • present to the Head of ClubDCFC Events strategic business plan and provide regular monthly updates v plan
  • prepare and provide required reports to the Head of; including profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and departmental projections
  • manage budget by event, retaining excellent comm skills with team to make sure all events are within the P&L forecast
  • develop strong relationships with customers, key business executives and stakeholders by understanding their needs through briefs given
  • identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition in the local area
  • manage and execute a marketing plan to provide sustainable growth to the conference & events business
  • identify new commercial opportunities developing business cases and realise benefits
  • conduct site inspections and meetings with clients to showcase facilities and present excellent venue standards

Requirements

  • english and Maths to GCSE Level 4 or equivalent
  • event Management Qualification
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • strong people management and supervisory skills
  • A good understanding of managing budgets
  • an ability to influence and use diplomacy
  • experience working in a sales environment
  • experience working in an events environment
