Responsibility
- present to the Head of ClubDCFC Events strategic business plan and provide regular monthly updates v plan
- prepare and provide required reports to the Head of; including profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and departmental projections
- manage budget by event, retaining excellent comm skills with team to make sure all events are within the P&L forecast
- develop strong relationships with customers, key business executives and stakeholders by understanding their needs through briefs given
- identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition in the local area
- manage and execute a marketing plan to provide sustainable growth to the conference & events business
- identify new commercial opportunities developing business cases and realise benefits
- conduct site inspections and meetings with clients to showcase facilities and present excellent venue standards
Requirements
- english and Maths to GCSE Level 4 or equivalent
- event Management Qualification
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- strong people management and supervisory skills
- A good understanding of managing budgets
- an ability to influence and use diplomacy
- experience working in a sales environment
- experience working in an events environment
