Responsibility
to check deliveries against invoices/delivery notes and respond to any discrepancies, liaising with Administrator where necessary
to assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Homes Health & Safety and Welfare policies and procedures
to be responsible for ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines using nominated suppliers
to take responsibility for recruiting and managing all catering employees in agreement with the Chef Manager to ensure correct procedure is followed
to be responsible for induction, on the job training and appraisal of staff within the Catering Department
duty to whistleblow if witness bad practice or harm to a resident within the care home
