- preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- taking and developing dental x-rays
- providing oral health education and advice to patients
- maintaining accurate patient records
- ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the dental surgery
Requirements
- previous experience as a dental nurse is preferred, but not required
- knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- familiarity with dental software and digital imaging systems
- includes preparing various materials required and ensuring the proper instruments and equipment are available
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- cleaning and sterilising of the used instruments
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- helping the dentist record information, the processing of Xrays and also the monitoring of stock control
