Responsibility

  • responsibilities include
  • carrying out audits across site ensuring compliance with legislation
  • indicate the necessary measures required for continued legal compliance and continuous improvement
  • oversee and action the Health and Safety annual plan
  • provide ongoing support to managers including help with method statements, risk and COSHH assessments
  • dempsey Dyer are a family led company with over 40 years experience in supplying Timber and UPVC windows and doors to both the commercial and trade sector
  • keep up to date with all new legislation
  • we are currently seeking a Health and Safety officer to support the operations team on a wide range of Health and Safety issues

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • experience in a health and safety role
  • A recognised training qualification or IOSH/NEBOSH qualification
  • experience in FMCG
  • confidence to drive a positive Health and Safety culture
  • health and Safety: 1 year
