Responsibility
- safely operate an E cargo bike to deliver parcels within assigned routes and schedules
- plan delivery routes and schedules for the day, taking into consideration traffic, delivery locations, and time constraints
- load and unload parcels from the cargo bike in a secure and organized manner
- load and unload goods from the van, ensuring that they are secure and undamaged
- plan and optimize delivery routes for efficient time management and meeting delivery targets
- carry out vehicle checks and ensure that the van is in good working condition before and after each shift
- provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive delivery experience for recipients
- follow all relevant traffic and safety regulations while driving, including speed limits, parking restrictions, and vehicle weight restrictions
Requirements
- valid driver's license
- strong cycling skills and ability to navigate various terrains
- prior experience in parcel delivery or courier services
- ability to handle and transport parcels weighing up to [specific weight]
- familiarity with E cargo bikes or electric bicycles
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- good physical fitness and ability to handle physical demands of the job
- A valid driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points
