Responsibility
- overall responsible for the verification of the GNC subsystem
- responsible for reviewing the technical requirements alongside the top level test/V&V plan
- DEIMOS is selecting one engineer to be integrated in the GNC/AOCS Competence Centre of the Avionics Business Unit, to lead the growth of Functional Validation activities within on-going and upcoming projects
- develop detailed Test Requirement Specification for the GNC subsystem tests
- responsible for ensuring the test plan is implemented/followed, tests are appropriately completed and documented
- verification of the GNC subsystem
- follow internal process defined by the AOCS/GNC competence center
- technical Requirement Specification elaboration
Requirements
- capability to integrate in and work within a team
- A strong background in functional verification
- experience in flight operations in ESA/European programmes
- self-initiative
- one or more avionics verifications campaigns
- capacity to understand new concepts and apply them to engineering problems
- experience in avionics verifications campaigns
- autonomy and self-development
Education
- required: A recognized engineering degree or a related degree
- desired: Postgraduate studies with a focus on aeronautical / aerospace engineering
