  • design and build a new chemical processes with a focus on process scale-up and commercialization
  • develop and implement process control strategies to optimize production and ensure consistent product quality

  • conduct process simulations and modeling to evaluate the performance and feasibility of various chemical processes, and identify areas for improvement
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary team, including material scientists, electrochemists, and other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve process issues

  • design and oversee the construction, installation, and operation of equipment, including reactors, pumps, and control systems

Requirements

  • degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process design, development, and optimization, with a focus on process scale-up and commercialization
  • minimum of 3 years experience working in a pilot plant, manufacturing environment, or other industrial setting
  • knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics including dissolution and precipitation, fluid mechanics, mass transfer, and process control
  • knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics including dissolution and precipitation, and process control
  • ability to develop safe and economical process for multiphase material handling and separation
  • strong ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems related to process design, root cause analysis, and optimization
