front end developer

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • design and implement new ways of interacting with AI models and systems
  • ability to design and implement quality mockups and prototypes and, in time, build out a full UI team
  • create trustworthy conversational flows and tune for machine-to-human interactions
  • collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data on how humans understand and interact with our AI systems
  • help decide how our model should behave and what data we need to collect to achieve this
  • create the best environment to integrate relevant information to fastest, highest quality progress towards scientific outcomes

Requirements

  • have experience with web app technologies and experience iterating quickly and writing production-quality code
  • have experience creating great user experiences
  • care about designing positive and collaborative interactions between people and artificial intelligence systems
  • good to have
  • experience with using and/or coding language models or machine-learning-centric tools more broadly
  • interest in researching best practices on how humans develop trust in AI systems and oversee systems’ decision-making
  • experience designing experiments with users
  • comfortable across the full product management stack - defining success, writing specs, talking to users, running analytics, prioritising feature work, managing releases, etc
