production manager
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- coordinate with the Group Sales and Estimating Manager to ensure the weekly production schedule is delivered
- monitor, coordinate and control the production process and activities in the factory to resolve any production issues
- ensure that all products are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality standards
- manage preventative maintenance on all production and material handling machinery
- promote a culture of continuous improvement and workplace organisaton to all production staff
- supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel
- plan production staff training, development and appraisals
- manage goods in and out process and stock storage within the factory and coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials
Requirements
- previous production management experience in a manufacturing environment
- good communication skills
- good people management skills
- continuous improvement experience
- health and safety Qualification eg IOSH
- production Scheduling: 1 year
- production Management: 1 year
