Responsibility
- responsibility for the Environmental, Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues at all times
- ability to carry out comprehensive training and development for all staff within the Wax area/Shellroom
- communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and senior members of staff at all times
- accurately record and keep inspection data to enable further analysis and operational compliance
- maintain and exceed expected targets in 5’s and housekeeping within the Wax Room area /Shellroom
- this includes work instructions, route cards information, labour bookings, stock locations, non-conformance reports, scrap and rework information
- all EFACS information needs to be maintained and accurate for your area of responsibility
- maintain high levels of product and operational quality in the area under your responsibility
Requirements
- level 2/3 in Supervisory role and minimum of two years working at that level
- ability to adapt quickly in a faster moving environment
- good communication skills at all levels<br>* Experience and knowledge of 5S
- experience in H and S Management and application of knowledge in risk assessments and COSHH reviews
- good computer skills preferred but training can be given
- technical background be it mechanical or electrical and using this relevant experience in problem solving
- willing to work flexible hours where necessary to get the optimum from the area
- happy to be hands on where need as working Team Leader
