Responsibility

  • assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites
  • carry out general labouring tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials
  • operate basic hand tools and power tools as required
  • follow instructions from site supervisors and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  • maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment
  • support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as needed
  • report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly
  • the DE Group are actively seeking a couple of CSCS welfare cleaners to work on a site near Piccadilly Circus

Requirements

  • valid CSCS card is essential
  • previous experience in a labouring role within the construction industry
  • strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when required
  • good physical fitness and stamina for manual handling tasks
  • excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards work

traffic marshall

Responsibility

  • direct and manage vehicle movements within the site, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic
  • communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and other team members to provide clear instructions
  • monitor site conditions and report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • assist in the maintenance of traffic control equipment and signage as necessary
  • provide support during events or peak times to facilitate safe access and egress for all users

Requirements

  • proven experience in management or supervisory roles, particularly in traffic control or related fields is advantageous
  • strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • A valid driving licence is required; experience driving various vehicles is a plus
  • ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations related to traffic management is desirable but not essential
