DDS GROUP is looking for employees for positions:
- DDS Group are looking for a Yard Operative/Stores Person to join our busy team
- previous experience of working within a building supplies yard and managing Stores would be an advantage
- negotiate Contracts
- break Estimates down into Cost Budgets
- tender and Procure Subcontract and Supplier Packages
- prepare and issue Applications for Payment
- liaise with Accounts Departments to advise them of costs and revenue matters
- assess and Approve Subcontract Applications for Payment and Supplier Payments
- value Variations/Changes/Compensation Event’s and provide necessary substantiation
- prepare notifications of delay and petitions to extend programme, including agreeing time awards
- strong and confident communicator, both in writing and verbally
- able to work within a team and follow instructions, as well as work independently using initiative
- hard working and motivated individual
- excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
- A full UK driving license with access to a suitable vehicle for work purposes
- attend meetings with clients
- sub-contract and supplier quotation analysis and comparison
- preparing and issuing sub-contract and supplier enquiries
- taking-off from drawings to produce bills of quantity which have been measured to recognised methods
