Responsibility
- our order book consists of varied projects, large contracts and smaller batches and 1 off's
- fabrication/Welding of products according to company specifications
- carry out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications
- operation of hand and machine tools and welding equipment
- local metal fabrication company seeking a suitably experienced and skilled Fabricator Welder to fabricate mild steel structures and architectural metalwork, to our customers designs, generally MIG welding
- ability to join structures and assemble parts through welding
- with a very healthy order book for 2023 we are off to a flying start and are looking to expand our friendly team
- maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and good working order
Requirements
- fabrication experience skills/or qualification – minimum of 5 years preferred
- physically fit to perform the physical requirements of the role
- ability to read drawings; job specifications/ instructions
- good interpersonal and Organisational skills
- highly motivated
- ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
- current and valid UK driver’s license
- welding: 3 years
