Responsibility
- manage kitchen staff and assist in daily operations
- establish weekly schedule for staff meetings, training and kitchen shift schedule
- ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- ensure all prep areas are clean and tidy at all times
- oversee daily sanitation and sanitation procedures in the kitchen area to maintain health code
- maintain quality food standards by following recipes, using proper ingredients, handling food properly and keeping work area clean and sanitized
- manage inventory and ordering of food items in the kitchen area
- DDH Recruitment is looking for a Head Chef to join our team at our Banbury location. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about food and the customer experience
Requirements
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- must be able to stand for long periods of time
- previous experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate
- ability to lift 25+ pounds
