Responsibility
- breaking out existing
- installing timber shuttering/edgings to correct heights
- pouring and finishing concrete with either a tamp/brush and arris trowel finish
- laying slabs/repairing/lifting relaying
- re pointing. Including removing old mortar and reinstalling. Brickwork repairs
- applicants to have previous experience in laying concrete with a tamp/brush finish including arris trowel edge, Repairs and renewal of concrete pathways
- follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- previous experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role is required
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials
- familiarity with construction methods and safety practices is advantageous
- valid driver's licence and vehicle is required for travelling to site location
- re active maintenance works. Groundworks/fencing
- cis bases - Self employed - Full driving licence - Own vehicle to get to Ashford
- strong communication skills and ability to work alone and occasionally have a labourer for larger works
