Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA qualified
  • good knowledge of bookkeeping packages including Sage, Xero and Receipt Bank
  • excellent knowledge of Excel and data analysis techniques
  • good level knowledge of VAT, rules and schemes
  • A good level of personal tax knowledge would be advantageous
  • knowledge of IRIS accounts suite would be advantageous
  • some previous audit exposure would be advantageous
  • must be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated

Responsibility

  • taking on small short-term internal projects as they arise
  • review and feedback of accounts and supporting file
  • day to day client queries
  • be part of a management team responsible for the efficiencies and mentoring of the accounts department
  • allocation of client assignments and team members on the work planner
  • portfolio expected to manage of c£400k
