Responsibility

  • producing and amending CAD Design, Construction and As Fitted drawings using AutoCAD / ArchiCAD software
  • producing clear and informative production drawings and technical information
  • following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
  • the role will expect you to prepare construction detail drawings to meet the project requirements within the deadlines
  • provide reports as appropriate to your line manager
  • this will involve taking precise measurements to develop detailed building plans for submission to building control for review and approval
  • the position will be office based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • working closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers, building service engineers, construction managers and estimators

Requirements

  • excellent time management and organisational skills
  • good communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • ideally previous experience within a CAD Design role
  • good initiative, including a logical approach to problem solving
  • ability and knowledge to confidently use Microsoft Office packages
  • have good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and submission items for tender/contract
