Responsibility
- producing and amending CAD Design, Construction and As Fitted drawings using AutoCAD / ArchiCAD software
- producing clear and informative production drawings and technical information
- following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
- the role will expect you to prepare construction detail drawings to meet the project requirements within the deadlines
- provide reports as appropriate to your line manager
- this will involve taking precise measurements to develop detailed building plans for submission to building control for review and approval
- the position will be office based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- working closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers, building service engineers, construction managers and estimators
Requirements
- excellent time management and organisational skills
- good communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- ideally previous experience within a CAD Design role
- good initiative, including a logical approach to problem solving
- ability and knowledge to confidently use Microsoft Office packages
- have good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and submission items for tender/contract
- autoCAD: 1 year
