Responsibility

  • conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are transported safely
  • maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations
  • communicate effectively with Planning team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
  • adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during operations

Requirements

  • previous experience as a delivery driver is a must, showcasing an understanding of logistics operations
  • A valid commercial driving licence is required, along with a clean driving record and up to date Driver CPC
  • NPORS / IPAF certification would be advantageous
  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate delivery records
  • excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients
  • driving: 1 year
