as Science Technician, you will support our teachers in delivering an exciting science curriculum to all pupils
you will be responsible for providing support to the Chemistry department by meticulously preparing and setting up apparatus, materials and chemicals for practical sessions and activities to allow teachers to facilitate the best use of their time, and to ensure efficient and timely provision of resources used in the delivery of the curriculum

work closely with the School’s PR agency and attend regular PR meetings
undertake other reasonable duties related to the job purpose required from time to time
working with the Marketing and Events officer, analyse and monitor engagement and report accordingly
working with the Head of Admissions and Communications, and the Marketing and Events Officer on the development and implementation of an effective marketing strategy
working with the Marketing and Events Officer and external photographers, develop and maintain an up to date and comprehensive photo library, for use on the website and a wide range of marketing materials and documentation across the whole school

dame Allan’s Schools wish to appoint an experienced Facilities / Premises Management professional with planning and project management skills to play a key role in leading the Schools estates team
this role will also manage expansion and other building projects and will be responsible for leading a team of Caretakers, Grounds people, cleaning and other site contractors
site security: Overall responsibility for the security arrangements of the premises including ensuring that staff are aware of the procedures on security and the use of alarm systems, that there is an appropriate system of key holding management, that periodic reviews of site security are conducted and that appropriate progress is followed through
finance: Take responsibility for the management of the annual budget within the Estates Department
premises, plant & equipment: To have overall responsibility, with the support of the Maintenance Manager, for the planned and ad hoc maintenance and upkeep of the premises and equipment including the required safety checks following school policy
