  • part-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • overseeing of the credit control function daily
  • daily communications with customers on new credit accounts, credit limit reviews and credit account positions
  • daily communications with suppliers, scheduling supplier payments, settlement discounts and general account queries
  • control of the company bank accounts and associated administration
  • bank reconciliations
  • full payroll administration
  • VAT returns
  • regulatory correspondence including HMRC, pensions, etc

Requirements

  • experience in a similar role essential
  • the successful candidate will be meticulous, organised with a strong attention to detail
  • have a professional manner and have excellent communication skills at all levels
  • have a proactive and positive approach with a “can do” attitude
  • sage 50 experience or equivalent accounts package
  • existing accounting qualifications advantageous
  • accounting: 2 years
  • bookkeeping: 2 years
