- DAI is seeking a Bid Manager to join our busy Business Development Team
- this will be a full-time, permanent role
- the position will be based in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
- DAI’s UK-based Business Development Unit is responsible for the identification of and bidding for new programme opportunities across the company’s technical portfolio
Requirements
- extensive, proven relevant work experience in a relevant field
- bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent in experience
- previous track record of project or proposal management
- demonstrable understanding of and interest in international development and working in an international/multi-cultural environment
- knowledge of / experience of working with Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office or other major bilateral/multilateral donors
- excellent communication skills both written and verbal with demonstrable ability to write technical text
- proven organisational skills
- proven experience of team working and ability to work across multiple teams at the same time
