- full-time | Contract
Responsibility
- supervising the PYO field from Wednesday to Sunday
- overseeing the two other members of staff; the florist and flower seller outside the Millets Farm Shop
- processing tickets and taking payments for admission to the field and cut flowers
- showing people around the field and answering questions
- making visitors away of the health and safety notices
- as a small business, you will be expected to help in all aspects of making Dahlia Beach an exciting and aspirational place to visit
- ensuring there is enough foliage and filler flowers for the workshops
- cutting and arranging flowers into bouquets for visitors and farm shop
Requirements
- excellent communication skills and preferably some sales experience
- confident and outgoing personality
- reliable and punctual disposition
- willingness to be adaptable and flexible
- positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- resilient and flexible approach to problem solving
- interest in gardening and/or horticulture is a bonus
- experience in a customer facing business is essential
