Responsibility
- work with the customer to identify areas of continuous improvement and develop packaging innovations and technological advancements
- prepare and present initial concept designs for customer approval to proceed to full design and estimating
- oversee prototype development and performance testing, to ensure customer satisfaction of design ideas
- work both independently and as part of the team to deliver project actions, in line with the weekly team meetings
- support the development of new and existing team members, including sharing knowledge of packaging, procedures, and customer manufacturing processes
- support Management with data, as required, for tasks such as reporting and meeting information
- develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both the customer and internal stakeholders to ensure success
- create new and improve existing packaging solutions; this could be through innovative design ideas, implementation of returnable packaging, simplifying of single use packaging, delivery of green initiatives etc
