Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- consult with our Director, Transport Manager, Office Manager, Drivers and Admin Department
- with three generations of knowledge and experience, our fleet has been able to grow and thrive
- leading the workshop
- supervising the team of HGV Technicians and allocating the workload accordingly
- adhere to Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality processes to ensure we are always compliant
- the ideal candidate will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and will need to be hard working, motivated and well-organised
- diagnostic work, MOT preparation and general inspections and servicing for both HGV’s and trailers
- they need to be happy to lead a dynamic team and must be able to communicate to a high level
Requirements
- city and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
- strong management skills
- A full and valid UK Driving Licence
- ability to work under pressure and manage a busy Workshop
- high level of computer literacy
- detail orientated
- excellent written and oral communication skills
