Working hours

Responsibility
- produce drawings at all levels, from sketches, to planning and fabrication
- produce 2D drawings, including service plans, site plans, etc
- create 3D models of steel designs using Tekla, or similar software
- produce designed standard steel connections on Tekla, or similar software
- quantify and produce a bill of materials list, for pricing and procurement
- produce NC files for steel suppliers
- produce setting out information, and set out on site
- work closely with the steel fabricator and steel erectors, and assist with technical queries and improvments
Requirements
- proficienct in Tekla, or similar 3D design package, to produce fabrication drawings and NC files
- knowledge of structural steel design and detailing
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
