Working hours

Responsibility

  • about the position
  • expected skillset will be primarily server virtualization centric with strong peripheral knowledge of network connectivity principles and services
  • demonstrated knowledge of hypervisor technologies, concepts, and supporting hardware infrastructure and connectivity
  • provide technical expertise to resolve service interruptions and incidents
  • manage, coordinate, and communicate incident or problem resolutions to completion
  • engage internal and external services or vendors to assure proper Return to Service or
  • RMA for any production systems or services
  • track, maintain, and record resolutions in ticketing system of record

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years experience and technical knowledge of Microsoft OS or Linux CentOS/RedHat OSs
  • ability to work efficiently and productively without direction or guidance
  • 5-8 years experience and technical knowledge of virtualization hypervisors, VMware, KVM, Virtual Box, or other Enterprise Cloud platforms
  • 2 years experience supporting medium to large environments or integrator experience
  • willingness and capability of quickly learning new technologies required for accomplishing project goals
