  • 1 years’ experience in a relevant IT corporate support services environment
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail is key to our role

  • A good understanding of workstations and Microsoft platforms and software

Responsibility

  • assist the IT Helpdesk Team Leader in the management of the Company’s IT services; in particular providing support and operational services
  • supporting MS Active Directory, ideally with experience in multi-forest environments. To include excellent knowledge of MS Group Policy
  • day-to-day management of the service desk, including triaging & expediting helpdesk workload and tickets
  • the successful candidate will be experienced in service delivery
  • perform IT Operations and security checks as and when required
  • this role is mainly office based, with some flexibility of hybrid working one days a week
  • maintain proper records of the work carried out and to report on such work as required

Requirements

  • previous experience & responsibility for Client hardware and software installation, maintenance, and repair
  • able to support and resolve end users with their PC problems
  • A natural enjoyment of collaborating with people
  • the ability to work well independently without supervision or as part of a team
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including remote interactions, as well as good organisational and time management abilities
  • strong attention to detail and excellent data capture and analysis standards as well as written and oral presentation skills
  • enthusiastic and flexible, positive ‘go the extra mile’ approach
