Requirements

  • familiarity with Highly Available deployments of Kafka, Redis, MongoDB and/or other unconventional data storage technologies
  • verbally discuss the ability to support the following database technologies, MariaDB, MongoDB, RethinkDB or Cassandra but not limited to others
  • A Solid working background of COBIT/ITIL frameworks
  • ability to work without a formal office location
  • working knowledge of Linux, networking, routing & firewall configuration
  • A Bachelor’s in Computer Science and/or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • working familiarity with DevOps environments / Containerisation
  • solid understanding of cloud-based providers

Responsibility

  • you’ll also contribute towards the Disaster Recovery procedures
  • cyferd is looking for someone who is technically brilliant as well as a great problem solver with the ability to learn new skills quickly
  • our NodeJS/React SaaS offering will be deployed on Kubernetes, and you’ll take Hands-On responsibility for configuring the relevant parts of the AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure where it is hosted with a mindset and desire to automate EVERYTHING with well- defined highly repeatable processes across all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
