Responsibility
- initially, the role is likely to require a degree of being hands-on to support the small production team
- leading the production team through their work
- working hands on with our production team to complete orders
- managing storage and the efficient flow of materials, goods in and out
- prioritising production duties to meet our daily schedules and company targets
- as the business grows the remit will extend to additional operational aspects of the business
- identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies
- manage and motivate the team and retain, develop, and recruit as required
Requirements
- excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and people throughout the day
- excellent computer skills to be able to use our in-house production system
- confident and clear communicator who can win hearts & minds across the business
- knowledge in sheet materials and the woodwork industry would be a distinct advantage but not essential
- production Management : 2 years
- small business management: 3 years
- A practical manager who is comfortable operating in a small business but with the skills to grow with the business and ensure best practices are implemented as the business grows
- team Leadership: 3 years
