production operator
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- customworks is a leading supplier of gift products to cultural, heritage and tourism markets
- previous experience in a production environment is preferred but not essential
- more important is a flexible approach and an enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude
- we are currently seeking full-time production operators to work in a small but fast-paced factory producing melamine tableware, stationery and gift products
- you will be required to produce and pack a range of products in accordance with company and customer specifications, on time, and to the highest standard, ensuring that hourly targets are met
- this is a permanent position and an immediate start date is available
- you will be trained in all production processes including semi-automatic assembly machines and some aspects of print finishing as well as manual tasks such as hand-finishing, labelling and packing
- this can be a physically demanding role and you must be fit and active. The job requires strong practical skills, working with dexterity and speed whilst maintaining high quality standards
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
