- work on a mix of loan security and regulated purpose valuations
- undertake Lease Advisory Instructions for a range of private and corporate clients
- to assist the Portfolio Management Team with the delivery of day to day property matters on a portfolio
- to ensure cost effective operational running of allocated sites
- identify and implement a plan to develop a client portfolio
- supporting lead surveyor for the North patch
- maintain client relationship and act as liaison with clients on specific projects
- to develop and maintain positive and client-focused relationships with landlord, investors, external asset managers, tenants and occupiers
- to support the effective running and management of an operational commercial property portfolio
- cushman & Wakefield’s Strategic Advisory Team is a specialist national group within the wider firm
- liaising with C&W’s internal Accounts Team on the payment of rents and service charges
- develop and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing clients, actively developing business opportunities
- to assist the delivery on Retail Concessions for large retail client
- help advise and report on all property\lease related matters
- fulfil revenue and profit targets
- support the team profile in the market and throughout the business
- to update and grow an accurate client database and to maintain professional diaries and tenancy schedules
- creating property strategies for clients on complex single and multiple sites across all use classes
- to manage and oversee the negotiation process from disposals and acquisitions within transactions
- liaising with landlords and third parties on minor issues and escalating to senior colleagues as appropriate
- identify and drive through cost savings for corporate occupiers
- day-to-day liaison with assigned client representative during an instruction
- the Senior Surveyor may act as account lead and single point of contact for three corporate clients
- this role is to work specifically in our London team, based in the West End
- liaising with Landlords and Tenants
- work on a mix of loan security and acquisition valuations in addition to regular mandates
- ensure advice is provided thoroughly, accurately and within set deadlines, seeking assistance from colleagues if necessary or as appropriate

- to prepare management reports in accordance with clients’ requirements including analysis and explanation of client accounting aspects

- key responsibilities
- liaising regularly with Cushman and Wakefield's internal Accounts Team on the payment of rents and service charges
- we currently have an exciting opportunity for a RICS-qualified development surveyor to join our growing Midlands-based Development Consultancy & Agency team
- liaise frequently and directly with client contacts both remotely and on-site
- liaison with client organisation
- deliver activities and projects within client expectations
- to distribute tenant circulars and other property related correspondence
- negotiating Development Agreements and Joint Ventures between the public and private sectors
- identify and drive through cost saving and capital raising opportunities, working with client team and other 3rd parties as appropriate

- providing professional, thorough and accurate advice within set deadlines
- effectively use established systems for debtor and disbursement recovery to secure cash flow and profitability, e.g. billing, debt pricing, costings etc
- updating, creating and maintaining progress/ information schedules
- ensure adherence to lease terms and compliance with statutory requirements and advising clients of same
- ensure projects, reports, etc. are delivered on time and in budget
- work in an efficient and successful manner

Requirements
- degree level qualification
- qualification with professional body and member as appropriate but not mandatory
- demonstrable ability to take responsibility of sizeable and complex client instructions
