Education

Responsibility
- carrying out routine phys-chem & micro analysis of raw materials, beer in process, and beer in final package
- maintenance of all quality standard operating procedures and specifications, including the training of brewing & packaging teams
- key member of HACCP and Food Safety team, ensuring adherence to SALSA, BRC, & FEMAS standards
- utilising GMP, 5-Why and PDCA principles to ensure continuous improvement of product Quality
- monitoring, reporting and improvement of core quality KPI’s, such as Customer Complaints, Phys Chem Index & Micro Index
- management of both the phys-chem and microbiological laboratories at Curious Brewery. Ensuring that hygiene and 5S are maintained to high standards in both areas
- ensuring adherence to our phys-chem, micro, & sensory sampling schedule to ensure that we maintain our high standards of control and product quality
Requirements
- previous experience in a quality assurance role preferred
- knowledge of HACCP principles and practices
- strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement
- detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in work
- excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- lab/Quality: 1 year
