Responsibility
- measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- fabricate and assemble structures such as frameworks, door frames, and roof trusses
- install cabinets, shelves, drywall, and other fixtures
- perform painting tasks as needed to finish projects
- ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to building codes and safety regulations
- collaborate with electricians and masons when necessary for integrated projects
- maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
- knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage but not essential
- ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches accurately
- strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fabricate solutions on-site
- experience with masonry work is a plus
- excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
