  • learning how to use various types of machinery such as saws, ring-rollers, belt sanders, pillar drills and welders
  • learning how to add high quality finishes to various types metals such as mild steel, stainless steel and brass
  • learning how fit various items on site once they have been manufactured
  • learning how to read and interpret engineering CAD drawings to produce a wide range of difference products such as shelving units, doors, table bases, handrails, balustrades & more
  • learning how to use a wide range of different hand tools as well as marking techniques to help produce items to a tolerance of 1mm
