Responsibility
- assist in the set up and operate additive manufacturing machines according to established protocols and procedures
- monitor and maintain 3D printers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- help to conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, calibration, and changing of consumables
- collaborate with design and engineering teams to review and optimise CAD models for additive manufacturing
- perform post-processing tasks such as finishing, cleaning, and quality inspection of manufactured components
- help to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
- maintain all documentation as required
- stay updated on industry trends and advancements in additive manufacturing technologies
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent technical certification within an engineering background is desirable but not essential
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining additive manufacturing equipment
- proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD for model preparation and modification
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
