Responsibility

  • prepare, cook, and present hot and cold dishes to spec and standard during busy services
  • prepare, cook and present hot and cold menu items to our standards during busy periods
  • work with the kitchen team to ensure food is delivered on time, every time
  • support in all areas of the kitchen – from grill and fry to garnish and plating
  • assist at various kitchen stations, including grill, fry and plating
  • maintain strict food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety standards at all times
  • follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures to keep the kitchen sparkling and safe
  • help receive deliveries, monitor stock, and reduce kitchen waste

Requirements

  • previous experience in a high-paced kitchen or a strong willingness to learn as a kitchen assistant or commis chef
  • previous kitchen experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person
  • A keen interest in fresh food, quality, and service – you’ll be proud of every plate
  • A passion for tasty, well-presented pub food and an eye for detail
  • flexible, positive and reliable – ready for evenings, weekends, and public holidays
