- investigating bugs and applying fixes where appropriate
- offering support to our Cordero customers via telephone and email
- document your changes and produce documentation/training material for your work
- make changes to our public-facing website templates using WordPress, including editing templates in HTML, PHP and CSS
- plan, Design, Develop and Test your new features
- participate in code reviews, planning and other meetings throughout the company
- use Expo to build and maintain applications for iPad
- write clean and maintainable code, following guidelines where required
- must be a self-starter, with an exemplary can-do, problem-solving attitude
- willingness to learn
- excellent organisational skills and ability to analyse data for better decision-making
- A team player and excellent in communication across all levels of the organization
- develop pro-active relationships with other teams and managers
- must have a good technical understanding
- must have at least 1 year of experience in a web development role or equivalent
- previous experience working in an IT support role is desirable
- ensure on-going success of the barn as a venue of choice
- demonstrate excellent levels of customer service
- manage and motivate the bar teams, ensuring effective teamwork and communication
- foster a positive working environment that encourages team collaboration and development
- be responsible for stock ordering and rotation
- oversee all aspects of the bar operations as well as ensuring strict cleaning regimes of the bar and back of house areas are adhered to
- be proactive in providing training sessions for the team to enhance their drinks and service knowledge including cocktail service
- assist with general admin enquiries, viewings of the venue for prospective couples and enquiries for booked couples when in the quieter seasons
- proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality sector is essential
- strong knowledge of beverage practices as well as cellar management
- excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of operations
- strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees and customers alike
- ability to work flexible hours, including regular evening and weekend working
- DPS qualification would be advantageous
